Right now we are all travelling less than usual, but sustainable transport will be ever so important as we return to a less restricted life. On the 14th of May a webinar on sustainable travel was live sent as a part of Talking Climate by Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project Europe. The two Climate Reality Leaders Katharina Paoli Brunat, CEO Nudgd, and Horst Bayer, founder of TravelHorst hosted the webinar and discussed different solutions and what can be done at both EU political, business and municipal level to promote sustainable travel.

Watch: The webinar starts at 2 min and 30 seconds into the recording.

Katharina shared insights on how behavioral science and nudging can be important tools to increase sustainable travel habits. She also presented our digital platform Smart Travel Habits – which utilizes the so-called fresh-start effect and uses the potential for behavioral change that arises at new beginnings.

The Climate Reality Project

This international movement was founded by US Vice President Al Gore the same year as he got the world talking about climate change with the Academy Award-winning film An Inconvenient Truth. The aim with the The Climate Reality Project is to move the conversation forward and turn awareness into action all across the Earth.

Climate Reality Leadership Corps

One of the initiatives of The Climate Reality Project is the Climate Reality Leadership Corps, a global network of leaders trained by Al Gore, committed to taking on the climate crisis. The program provides the training in climate science, communications, and organizing to tell the story of climate change and inspire communities everywhere to take action.

The result is a dynamic group of world-changing Climate Reality Leaders shaping the conversation on climate in forums from family dinners to international summits and building a 21st-century movement for solutions. We are proud that our CEO Katharina Paoli Brunat is the Regional Coordinator for the Nordic Region. She serve and mentor 50 Nordic Climate Leaders and support them in their acts of leadership.
